Wellness Champions
A NAMI Bridges to Care San Antonio (BTCSA) Wellness Champion is a person who values and promotes mental health awareness within their community and is passionate about ending the stigma facing mental illness.
Program Overview
This program helps congregations, nonprofits, and community caregivers integrate mental wellness into their daily work. Participants learn how to recognize when someone may be struggling, respond with empathy, connect them to professional support, and create environments where mental health is openly valued and discussed.
